RNN Group is hiring a Caretaker and Estates Operative at Rotherham College to ensure buildings are available, accessible and safe for students, staff and visitors. The role supports a welcoming campus by maintaining cleanliness, security and smooth room setups.

You will work a 37-hour week, year-round, on a shift pattern of mornings and afternoons, with a closing date 9 November 2026. Prior estates experience and Level 2 English/Maths are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance or caretaking, ideally in education.
• Ability to keep buildings secure and well presented.
• Willingness to work shifts and attend to emergencies as required.

Responsabilités

• Participate in shift rota to maintain Estates presence and security.
• Assist in cleaning and upkeep of college buildings and grounds.
• Keep fire exits clear and manage health and safety hazards.
• Prepare rooms for curriculum use and staff meetings.
• Deliver post and parcels to correct areas for smooth operations.
• Assist with routine maintenance and respond to emergencies.
• Provide First Aid when required.
