Job summary

The Camping and Caravanning Club Ltd is seeking a Site Manager to lead a busy campsite network across the UK. You will guide a team, ensure outstanding guest service, and maintain a safe, well-presented site with strong operational standards.

Living and working on-site with opportunities to travel between sites, you will manage budgets, oversee health and safety, and deliver exceptional holidays for campers throughout the year.

Site Manager

Hourly Rate: £12.80-£15.56 based on Site

Seasonal contract, working 40-47 hours perweek

Location: Candidates must be prepared work anywhere in the UK (including England,Scotland and Wales)

Our Site Managers play a vital role in creating exceptional experiences for our campers. As the leader of a Club campsite, you'll be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service, maintaining high operational standards, inspiring your team to create a welcoming, safe and enjoyable environment for every camper. Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Inspires the Site team to perform and embrace the Club's values and behaviours by being a role model in all Site duties.
• Leads the Site team to ensure the delivery of consistently high standards of customer service to achieve an exceptional camper experience.
• Ensures Site policies are implemented and interpreted to the benefit of all campers, in a friendly, flexible and consistent way.
• Oversees all aspects of Site operations including: the general upkeep of the site, ground care and grass cutting, inspection, cleanliness of amenities, reception and service areas.
• Completes required forms, reports and associated electronic/paperwork, ensuring site compliance with relevant legislation, such as Health & Safety and GDPR.
• Manages expenditure in line with approved budgets, maintaining financial discipline and supporting the achievement of Site profitability and performance targets.

Required experience, knowledge, skills and abilities:

• Management experience in a sector or background that could transfer into holiday/leisure accommodation/Site Management.
• Experience and having responsibility for legislative aspects of an operation, such as Health & Safety, GDPR, etc.
• Site experience is advantageous but not essential if you have transferable skills.
• People management skills.
• Ability to undertake the physical demands of the role and to work in all weathers.
• Experience of working within a busy customer environment or team.
• Confident using computers and digital systems, with the ability to complete booking administration, customer records and other day-to-day office tasks while learning new technology.
• Excellent customer facing, relationship building and interpersonal skills.
• Right to work in the UK.
• A full UK driving licence.
• A minimumof two satisfactory references (upon successfully being offered a contract).
• Must own a Caravan/Motorhome/Campervan/RV at the time of application.

Site Managers are required to work 40-47 hours a week over a 5-day period which can be over both weekends and bank holidays to meet the needs of the site.Site Managers complete 40 hours during Winter and 47 hours in Summer.

We ask that Site Managers are prepared to work on any of our sites across the UK network.

Successful candidates will undertake a 10–12-week, on-the-job intensive training programme commencing in January.

The Club provides a staff pitch for the duration of your contract, complete with an electric hook up point free of charge so you can live and work comfortably on site.

Site Managers are entitled to 28 days holiday (pro rata).
