Dorset HealthCare in Poole is seeking a Team Administrator to join the CAMHS administration team. You will schedule appointments, manage telephone calls, minute meetings, create letters and maintain up to date records.

This is a full-time role, 37.50 hours per week. The role requires an Enhanced DBS check, which the Trust will cover. Please note visa sponsorship is not available; you must have the right to work in the UK without sponsorship.

  • Work with CAMHS colleagues to organise and deliver a safe, efficient office system supporting patient care and timely information returns.
  • Support clinicians by typing clinical letters and organising appointments.

Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Team Administrator to join our Poole CAMHS team.

You will work as part of our Administration Team to schedule appointments, manage telephone calls, minute meetings, create letters and maintain up to date records.

You will be the first point of call on the telephone, liaising with patients, staff, relatives, GPs and other services. This is a fast paced and rewarding service to work within and you will help us ensure its effective and smooth running.

This is a full time post of 37.50 hours a week.

Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of.

Main duties of the job

To liaise with members of the public in their dealings with the team/service, some of whom may prove at times to be distressed or challenging in manner.

To liaise with other members of the CAMH Service to organise and deliver a safe and efficient office system to support sound patient care, consistent with good clinical governance guidelines, whilst helping the team to achieve targets and complete timely returns of information.

To support clinicians with their work including typing clinical letters and organising appointments.
