Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust is offering an administrative role at Oakley House to support the Community Mental Health Teams. The job runs 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a focus on admin for the clinical teams, including typing, appointment coordination, and reception duties.
Applicants with prior experience in similar roles and comfort working within a multidisciplinary team are preferred.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, proactive administrator to join our team at Oakley House supporting the Community Mental Health Teams.
The position is 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday.
The successful candidate will ideally have some previous experience of working within a similar role. Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team would be an advantage.
This role is key to the smooth running of the CMHT, you will be communicating with and supporting service users for appointments and other queries and dealing with all the admin for the clinical teams, including typing and processing clinical letters, organising appointments, covering outpatient reception where needed, and supporting clinical meetings producing minutes where necessary.
The role is a varied and busy one. You will need to have strong multitasking skills, patience, resilience, along with good computer and organisational skills. The need for confidentiality is essential in this role as is the attention to detail.
