Job summary

Kent and Medway Mental Health NHS Trust is seeking a Specialty Doctor to join the Thanet ChYPMHS team in Broadstairs. You will manage an independent caseload of young people under consultant supervision, covering ADHD and ASD and working within a supportive MDT.

The role offers diverse clinical experience across CAMHS, crisis response, and learning opportunities to develop CESR, higher training or specialist progression within a collaborative Trust.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent medical qualification is essential.
• MRCPsych or EU Directive 2005/36/EU-compliant specialist qualification desirable.
• Fully GMC-registered with licence to practise is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assess, formulate and manage care for young people under the service.
• Attend network meetings to share formulation and treatment plans.
• Attend weekly MDT meetings and contribute to case discussions.
• Manage ADHD and ASD with supervision as needed.
• Repeat prescribing of medication for young people in the service.
• Contribute to crisis duty rota and local urgent assessments when required.
