Job summary

NELFT NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Specialty Doctor to support CAMHS across neurodevelopmental, emotional and behavioural pathways. The role includes 10 PAs (8 Direct Clinical Contact, 2 SPAs) and a duty rota with occasional prescriber duties.

There are opportunities for service development, teaching and quality improvement within CAMHS transformation. The post offers a non-on-call arrangement and a permanent full-time contract at Wood Street Health Centre, Walthamstow.

Qualifications

• Medical degree and GMC registration required.
• Section 12 approval or eligibility to apply within 3 months.
• Experience in postgraduate specialist core training.

Responsibilities

• Organise and prioritise own and others’ workload daily.
• Deputise in the team manager’s absence and delegate appropriately.
• Adhere to Trust protocols and maintain accurate records for audits.
• Contribute to risk management and maintain risk registers.
• Provide information and education to patients and families.
