Job summary

Dorset HealthCare is seeking a Band 4 Assistant Psychologist to join the NDAC Team within CAMHS in North Dorset. The role supports neurodevelopmental assessment pathways for children and young people, including ADHD/Autism referrals, and works under supervision of Clinical Psychologists and senior staff.

The post involves coordinating referrals, conducting psychometric assessments, maintaining clinical records, and contributing to audit and service development.

Qualifications

• 2:1 or 1st class degree in psychology.
• Experience with working with young people with Autism/ADHD in a clinical setting.
• Clear indication of interest in working within a Neurodevelopmental Assessment service.

Responsibilities

• Support the Clinical Psychology Team with neurodevelopmental assessments and case management.
• Assist in managing ADHD waiting lists and the assessment pathway.
• Contribute to clinical documentation and psychoeducational work under supervision.
• Drive is essential; access to a vehicle is required.
