Oxford Health is recruiting a Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to shape a new CAMHS liaison service across Bath & North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire. You will lead clinical teams across three hospitals, drive service development, and collaborate with crisis and inpatient services to improve care for children and young people in crisis.

Qualifications

• Medical degree and full GMC registration are essential.
• Eligible for GMC Specialist Register or SP within 6 months of CCT.
• Eligible for Section 12 Approval/Approved Clinician or willing to apply.
• Desirable: MSc or higher degree and RC Psych Fellowship.

Responsabilités

• Lead development of a new CAMHS Liaison model across BSW and establish a leadership team.
• Provide senior clinical leadership to multidisciplinary liaison teams at three hospitals.
• Assess and manage high-risk youth, provide specialist consultation and act under Mental Health Act as needed.
• Develop links with CAHTS, inpatient services and wider networks to improve care and reduce admissions.
• Guide teams through governance, supervision and quality improvement to deliver compassionate care.
