Job summary

Princebuild is seeking a Project Manager to lead a varied portfolio of construction projects in Cambridge, including refurbishment and CAT A/B fit-outs. The role requires proactive leadership, clear communication, and a collaborative approach, with travel as required and DBS checks as part of the onboarding process.

You will report to the Head of Cambridge Office and oversee pre-construction through to handover, ensuring safety, programme, cost control and client satisfaction across multiple

Qualifications

• Proven and recent experience within the construction industry.
• Strong leadership, organisation and coordination skills.
• Confident using IT systems (Microsoft Office and project tools)
• Full UK driving licence (minimum 6 months post-test)
• Commitment to professional standards and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for the successful delivery of allocated projects from pre-construction through to completion and handover.
• Manage projects to ensure they are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards.
• Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety legislation, CDM Regulations and company policies.
• Develop and monitor project programmes, identify risks and mitigate them.
• Chair and attend regular project/site meetings with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
