Job summary

Thornford Park Hospital in Berkshire is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to join the catering team. Reporting to the Head Chef, you’ll help prepare meals, keep the kitchen clean and safe, and assist with deliveries, working 37.5 hours over five days in a calm environment.

• Knowledge of COSHH and HACCP.
• Experience in similar role.

Responsibilities

• Serving service users, staff and visitors with food and beverages.
• Maintaining storage procedures and stock rotation.
• Ensuring that all areas, equipment and furniture are cleaned and stored correctly.
• Responsible for the department’s cleaning chemicals and equipment.
