Job summary

Sale High School is seeking reliable Exam Invigilators to supervise examinations and maintain a calm, fair testing environment. You will explain procedures, distribute materials, and report concerns to the Examinations Manager.

Strong literacy, numeracy, and safeguarding understanding are essential, with flexibility during exam seasons. Pay is £13.45 per hour, or £15.07 including holiday pay, on a zero-hours contract with a minimum of 2 hours.

Qualifications

• Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to stay calm, impartial and professional.
• Good understanding of safeguarding.
• Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is desirable.
• Good availability during exam seasons.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students during examinations and ensure exam rules are followed.
• Explain examination procedures and provide support where appropriate.
• Distribute and collect exam materials securely.
• Maintain a calm, professional testing environment.
• Report any concerns or incidents to the Examinations Manager.
