Job summary

Longdendale High School is seeking an Exam Invigilator to supervise GCSE examinations in the examination rooms in accordance with exam boards and school rules. You will help admit candidates quietly, hand out and collect materials, and stay vigilant during exams, reporting any issues to the Examinations Officer.

Training will be provided, and enhanced DBS checks are required. The role is on an as and when required basis, with pay listed as £13.21 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work as part of a team.
• Experience in a school environment is desirable.
• Must be punctual, calm and well-organised.
• Willing to undergo training and DBS checks.

Responsibilities

• Supervise GCSE examinations in examination rooms.
• Assist with admitting candidates to examination rooms quietly.
• Distribute and collect examination materials.
• Maintain vigilance to ensure exam conduct follows guidelines.
• Report any issues to the Examinations Officer.
