The Reset Room Manager role at Newquay Tretherras involves running the daily Reset Room in collaboration with the School Behaviour Lead and pastoral team. You will maintain a calm, structured space for reflection on behaviour and safe return to lessons, with monitoring and coordination of detentions.

The role requires a calm, fair but firm approach, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently within a school team. DBS checks are enhanced and Right to work in the UK is required.

• Calm under pressure when handling incidents and safeguarding the learning environment.
• Ability to manage challenging behaviour effectively and safely.
• Firm but fair approach with patience and empathy.
• Clear and confident communication with students, parents and colleagues.
• Strong organisational skills to plan and monitor routines.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a school team.

Responsabilités

• Manage the day-to-day operation of the Reset Room.
• Create a calm, structured environment where students reflect on their behaviour and prepare to return to lessons.
• Maintain high expectations and consistent routines.
• Build positive relationships with students.
• Support the delivery of targeted behaviour interventions.
• Monitor behaviour patterns and intervene where needed.
• Communicate with parents and carers.
• Coordinate detentions as required.
• Contribute to the school's wider approach to behaviour and student support.
• Work closely with the School Behaviour Lead and pastoral team.
