Job summary

HORIBA is seeking a Calibration Engineer to perform calibration of HORIBA and third-party instruments both in-house and at customer sites. You will support the Calibration Technical Manager and help maintain UKAS accreditation while developing calibration procedures and keeping documentation up to date.

You will ensure equipment is fit for purpose, prepare Calibration Certificates, and maintain calibration records, requiring strong attention to detail and the ability to work across multiple

Qualifications

• Experience in calibration.
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment.
• Confidence using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• A proactive, team-focused approach.
• Mechanical or Electrical technical experience

Responsibilities

• Carry out calibration of HORIBA instruments and third-party instruments both in house and on customer sites.
• Provide support to Calibration Technical Manager and assist with UKAS accreditation maintenance.
• Develop and update calibration process procedures and documentation.
• Ensure calibration equipment is fit for purpose and regularly maintained and calibrated as required.
• Prepare Calibration Certificates and maintain records.
