Job summary

HORIBA MIRA in Nuneaton is seeking an Instrument Calibration Technician to join our Calibration team. This hands-on role supports calibration services across instrumentation, ensuring equipment is calibrated, maintained and documented in line with procedures and industry standards.

The position requires working shift. You will perform calibration activities, produce certificates and reports, maintain records, and support fault investigation.

Qualifications

• A Level 3 qualification in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (or equivalent experience).
• Experience working within a calibration laboratory or with instrumentation and measurement equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Job description

This hands‑on technical role supports the delivery of calibration services across a wide range of instrumentation, ensuring equipment is calibrated, maintained and documented in line with approved procedures and industry standards. Working within our calibration facilities, you'll support both internal and external customers while contributing to the quality and accuracy of engineering and test activities. Please note; this role requires working shift.
