Job summary

Trescal Limited in Stevenage is hiring a Calibration Engineer to calibrate a variety of measuring instruments and repair facilities to ISO9001 and UKAS standards. You will ensure that calibration activities are documented with traceable, auditable records within the EMS framework.

Qualifications

• Ideally a technical qualification (HND, HNC, NVQ/BTEC Level 3 or above).
• Knowledge of BS EN ISO/IEC 17025:#####.
• Good understanding of calibration practices and theories.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate a variety of measuring instrumentation and repair facilities to ISO9001 and UKAS standards.
• Independently maintain records of work, data and results in a traceable auditable manner using EMS management systems.

About the Role

Joining our team as a Calibration Engineer, you will be responsible for calibrating a variety of measuring instrumentation and repair facilities to both ISO9001 and UKAS accredited in accordance with Company Procedures, UKAS regulations and recognised specifications. A successful candidate will be expected to independently maintain relevant records of work, data and results in a traceable and auditable manner utilizing EMS management systems.
