Job summary

Securitas UK is seeking a Calibration Engineer to calibrate a range of measuring instruments and repair facilities in line with ISO9001 and UKAS accredited procedures. The role involves maintaining auditable records and ensuring traceability across EMS management systems.

The successful candidate will ideally hold a technical qualification (HND/HNC/NVQ/BTEC Level 3 or above) and possess a solid understanding of calibration practices and ISO/IEC 17025:2017 requirements.

Qualifications

• Calibrate measuring instrumentation and repair facilities per ISO9001 and UKAS accredited standards.
• Maintain accurate, traceable records of work, data and results.
• Knowledge of calibration practices and theories

Responsibilities

• Calibrate measuring instrumentation to ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and UKAS guidance.
• Maintain traceable records of work and results in auditable EMS systems

Joining our team as a Calibration Engineer, you will be responsible for calibrating a variety of measuring instrumentation and repair facilities to both ISO9001 and UKAS accredited in accordance with Company Procedures, UKAS regulations and recognised specifications. A successful candidate will be expected to independently maintain relevant records of work, data and results in a traceable and auditable manner utilizing EMS management systems.

• Ideally a technical qualification such as HND, HNC, NVQ/BTEC Level 3 or above
• Knowledge of BS EN ISO/IEC 17025:2017
• Good understanding of calibration practices and theories
