Job summary

Trescal is seeking a Calibration Engineer to join our UK sites. You will calibrate a range of measuring instruments and maintain compliance with ISO9001 and UKAS, ensuring traceable records.

You will work within company procedures and regulatory standards, contributing to the site’s quality and efficiency. Ideal candidates hold relevant technical qualifications and have a solid grounding in calibration theory.

Qualifications

• Technical qualification such as HND/HNC/NVQ/BTEC Level 3 or above.
• Knowledge of BS EN ISO/IEC 17025:2017.
• Good understanding of calibration practices and theories.

Responsibilities

• Calibrating a variety of measuring instrumentation and repair facilities to ISO9001 and UKAS accreditation.
• Maintain records of work, data and results in a traceable and auditable manner using EMS management systems.

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you as a Calibration Engineer at one of our sites across the UK.

Joining our team as a Calibration Engineer, you will be responsible for calibrating a variety of measuring instrumentation and repair facilities to both ISO9001 and UKAS accredited in accordance with Company Procedures, UKAS regulations and recognised specifications. A successful candidate will be expected to independently maintain relevant records of work, data and results in a traceable and auditable manner utilizing EMS management systems.

• Ideally a technical qualification such as HND, HNC, NVQ/BTEC Level 3 or above
• Knowledge of BS EN ISO/IEC 17025:2017
• Good understanding of calibration practices and theories
