We are seeking highly motivated Calibration Engineer/Technician to join. our team,
Joining our team as a RF Calibration Engineer, you will be responsible for undertaking various calibrations both ISO9001/17025 accredited in accordance with Company Procedures, UKAS regulations, recognised specifications, etc. Calibrating measuring instrumentation to traceable and accredited standards.
What will you be responsible for:
Perform calibration of customer equipment using approved procedures and good Metrology practice.
Ensure all certificates and records are completed accurately;
Participate in UKAS and accreditation audits.
Handling technical enquiries and liaising with clients where necessary.
Produce, develop and audit automated and manual calibration procedures for use within the Laboratory for customer calibration.
Develop measurement uncertainty budgets for customer calibrations.
Provide technical support and mentoring to colleagues on request in line with capability.
The ability to understand & interpret specifications/technical drawings will be advantageous.
What you will bring to the team:
Have previous experience as an Calibration Engineer or related field in Electrical equipment.
Inspection or calibration experience in the manufacturing, aerospace or automotive sector.
Ideally technical qualification such as degree, HND or HNC.
Good understanding of calibration practices and theories.
Excellent knowledge of BS EN ISO/IEC 17025:2017.
