Job summary

Chef & Cook in Greater London is seeking a motivated baker with pastry or kitchen experience to join our team. You will prepare and bake cakes and desserts, assemble and decorate cakes, and help with daily production.

The role includes keeping the kitchen clean, supporting the team, and weekend availability is preferred. Flexible hours with full-time (5 days/week) or part-time (3+ days/week) options, early start around 7:30am.

Qualifications

• Previous baking, pastry or kitchen experience is preferred
• An interest in Japanese cakes, desserts and baking
• Reliable, organised and able to work efficiently
• Good attention to detail
• Comfortable working independently as well as as part of a small team
• Basic English communication skills
• Availability to work weekends is preferred
• Applicants must have the right to work in the UK

Responsibilities

• Preparing and baking cakes and desserts
• Preparing ingredients and assisting with daily production
• Cake assembly, decoration and portioning
• Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
• Supporting the kitchen team with general preparation and daily tasks, Approximately 7:30am-4:30pm, depending on the day's production and business needs.
