Job summary

Orkney Islands Council's UHI Orkney campus is seeking a Cafeteria Manager to lead the on-site cafeteria, plan menus, manage ordering and invoicing, supervise staff, and ensure quality service for staff, students and the public. The role is 35 hours per week, term-time, permanent, with a pro rata salary of £31,356–£31,995 and hourly equivalent £17.18–£17.53, including Distant Islands Allowance.

• Must have Level 2 PVG Scheme membership.
• Experience in catering or cafeteria management.
• Ability to manage a small team.

• Manage ordering, invoicing, stock and supplier liaison.
