Job summary

Tesco Cafes in the United Kingdom is looking for a friendly Team Member to join our cafe team. You’ll help with food preparation and service while ensuring safety standards and clean workspaces.

Qualifications

• Experience in a hospitality or retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Keep kitchen equipment clean and tidy.
• Serve customers quickly and with care.
• Follow food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Rotate stock using FIFO.
• Receive deliveries and store food safely.
• Follow all operational policies.
• Prepare, cook and serve from the cafe menu.
• Maintain standards and menu availability.
• Know the cafe menu and serve dishes as intended.
• Resolve customer complaints and report to Caf Manager.
• Stay informed about business updates and new initiatives.
• Clear and sanitise tables to keep the cafe clean.
