About the role

Tea is brewing. Café doors are opening. The day is about to start, and so are our café team members. They're the talented people making every day a little better for our customers. Now, you can join them.

As a Team Member in our café, you're involved in everything — from cooking and serving to engaging with customers. You'll ensure that every dish meets our quality and safety standards and keep the environment clean and welcoming. This lively role offers daily challenges and opportunities for growth, with flexible hours and progression prospects.

We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours weekly for new colleagues, with options to work as few as 12 hours if preferred. We schedule shifts within specified availability windows, with three weeks' notice of your schedule. We support flexibility, so even if your availability closely matches but isn't exact, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and utensils.
  • Serve customers efficiently and courteously.
  • Follow food safety and hygiene regulations, keeping records as required.
  • Practice FIFO stock rotation to ensure food freshness.
  • Accept deliveries and store food safely.
  • Adhere to operational policies and procedures.
  • Prepare, cook, and serve food according to the menu.
  • Maintain standards and ensure product availability.
  • Know the menu thoroughly and serve accurately.
  • Resolve customer complaints and inform the Café Manager.
  • Keep up with business updates and initiatives.
  • Sanitize tables and keep the café tidy.
