About the role

Tea is brewing. Café doors are opening. The day is about to start, and so are our café team members. They're the talented people making every day a little better for our customers. Now, you can join them.

As a Team Member in our café, you're part of everything - a bit of cooking, a bit of chatting with customers, and a lot of impact. You will ensure that every dish you prepare and serve meets our menu standards and safety regulations. Additionally, you'll keep the environment tidy, from kitchen equipment to customer tables.

This lively role offers daily challenges and opportunities for flexible working hours, progression, and more.

We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours weekly, with options for fewer hours (minimum 12). We provide availability windows for scheduling, with three weeks' notice for shifts. We support flexibility; if your available times closely match our needs, we want to hear from you. Read more.

Responsibilities

• Keep kitchen equipment and utensils clean and tidy.
• Serve customers efficiently and with care.
• Follow food safety and hygiene regulations, maintaining records.
• Practice FIFO stock rotation.
• Accept deliveries and store food safely.
• Follow operational policies and procedures.
• Prepare, cook, and serve food per our menu.
• Maintain standards and ensure food availability.
• Know the menu well and serve food correctly.
• Resolve customer complaints and inform the Café Manager.
• Stay updated with business communications and initiatives.
• Clean and sanitise tables regularly.
