About the role

Tea is brewing. Café doors are opening. The day is about to start, and so are our café team members. They're the talented people making every day a little better for our customers. Now, you can join them.

As a Team Member in our café, you're involved in cooking, chatting with customers, and making a positive impact. You'll ensure every dish meets our menu standards and safety regulations, and you'll help keep the environment clean and tidy.

This lively role offers flexible working hours, opportunities for progression, and more. We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, with options for fewer hours (minimum 12). We accommodate flexible schedules based on your availability, with scheduling communicated three weeks in advance. You must be 18 or over to apply.

Responsibilities
  • Keeping kitchen equipment and utensils clean and tidy.
  • Serving customers efficiently and with care.
  • Following food safety and hygiene regulations, maintaining records.
  • Practising FIFO stock rotation to keep food fresh.
  • Accepting deliveries and storing food safely.
  • Adhering to operational policies and procedures.
  • Preparing, cooking, and serving food according to our menu.
  • Maintaining standards and ensuring food availability.
  • Knowing our menu thoroughly and serving food as intended.
  • Resolving customer complaints and informing the Café Manager.
  • Staying updated with business communications and initiatives.
  • Clearing and sanitising tables to keep the café clean.
Requirements
  • A commitment to hospitality and customer service excellence.
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety standards.
  • Ability to work efficiently and maintain cleanliness.
