Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is seeking a dedicated Cafe Supervisor to help ensure the smooth running of operations in a major High Street venue on a part-time basis, contracted to 24 hours per week.

You will supervise frontline teams, maintain quality standards, and support with duties including rotas, stock orders, and health and safety compliance, in a fast-paced environment across around 6,000 venues. Competitive pay and progression opportunities are available.

• Previous experience supervising frontline teams.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Check deliveries and store them promptly and correctly.
• Supervise a team and create a welcoming, supportive environment.
• Act as a responsible key holder.
• Assist with weekly bookwork and other duties as needed.
• Produce weekly rotas following manager's guidelines.
• Place orders to maintain stock levels.
• Delegate tasks to ensure a proactive team.
• Ensure food handling & hygiene standards are followed.
• Comply with health & safety regulations.
