Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is seeking a dedicated Cafe Supervisor on a part-time basis to help run operations for a major High Street brand, contracted to 24 hours per week.

You will maintain high standards of quality work, lead a frontline team, manage deliveries, rotas, stock orders and ensure Food Handling, Hygiene and Health & Safety compliance. Compass offers progression, recognition and development across thousands of venues.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supervising frontline teams in a similar environment.
• Strong communication skills with focus on customer service.
• Team player with can-do attitude.
• Ability to work under pressure with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Check and store deliveries promptly and correctly.
• Supervise a team and create a welcoming, supportive environment.
• Act as a responsible key holder.
• Assist with weekly bookwork and other duties.
• Produce weekly rotas following the manager's guidelines.
• Place orders to maintain stock levels.
• Delegate tasks and keep the team proactive.
• Comply with Food Handling & Hygiene standards.
• Comply with Health & Safety regulations.
