Job summary

Benugo operates a Cafe Supervisor role at one of the world’s iconic cultural venues, The British Museum. You will supervise busy cafe operations, ensuring quality coffee, food and service while leading a frontline team.

We offer a full-time, seven-day operation with shifts from 9:00am to 7:00pm, occasionally finishing later on Fridays. Competitive hourly rate, meals on shift, and employee discounts accompany career growth within a respected brand.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in a high-volume cafe environment.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage offerings.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Able to lead by example and motivate the team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day cafe operations, ensuring top product and service quality.
• Support management in driving sales and service improvements.
• Maintain high standards of Food and Health & Safety at all times.
• Act as manager in management absence and motivate the team.
• Perform cash-up duties after training.
• Manage stock control and inventory.
• Design rosters and allocate daily tasks.
