Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is seeking a dedicated Cafe Supervisor in the UK to help ensure smooth operations in a fast-paced environment. The role is full-time, contracted to 35 hours per week, with opportunities for progression within our people-focused company.

You will lead a front-line team, maintain high standards of quality and customer service, and support with rostering, stock ordering, and health and safety compliance while delivering excellent guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising frontline teams in a similar environment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring all deliveries are checked and stored promptly and correctly
• Supervising a team, creating a positive environment where the team feel welcomed and supported
• Being a responsible key holder
• Assisting with weekly bookwork and any other duties that are necessary
• Producing weekly rotas following the manager's guidelines
• Placing orders for stock to maintain the correct stock levels
• Delegating where necessary and ensuring the team are proactive at all times
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations
