Job summary

Compass Group PLC is seeking a dedicated Cafe Supervisor for a part-time role supporting operations in a major High Street brand. The position involves supervising frontline teams, managing rotas, stock, and deliveries while upholding high standards of food handling and safety.

You will be a key holder and contribute to a positive team culture, delivering excellent customer service. Expect variable shifts and opportunities to grow within the Compass Group UK&I family.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supervising frontline teams within a similar environment.
• Good communication skills with a focus on great Customer Service.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Check and store deliveries promptly and correctly.
• Supervise a team and create a positive, welcoming environment.
• Act as a responsible key holder.
• Assist with weekly bookwork and other duties as necessary.
• Produce weekly rotas following manager guidelines.
• Place orders to maintain stock levels and delegate tasks as needed.
• Ensure the team is proactive and compliant with standards.
• Follow Food Handling, Hygiene, and Health & Safety regulations.

We're currently recruiting a dedicated Cafe Supervisor to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in a major High Street brand on a part time basis, contracted to 20 hours per week. As a Cafe Supervisor, you will use your skills to maintain a high standard of quality work. • Ensuring all deliveries are checked and stored promptly and correctly
• Supervising a team, creating a positive environment where the team feel welcomed and supported
• Being a responsible key holder
• Assisting with weekly bookwork and any other duties that are necessary
• Producing weekly rotas following the manager's guidelines
• Placing orders for stock to maintain the correct stock levels
• Delegating where necessary and ensuring the team are proactive at all times
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations
  Previous experience supervising frontline teams within a similar environment
