Job summary

The Vale of Glamorgan Council invites applications for a catering role based at Cosmeston Lakes Country Park. You will manage a cost-effective catering service with strong cooking, communication and leadership skills to deliver excellent customer service.

Role requires experience in cafe environment management, stock handling and staff supervision, plus Level 2 Food Hygiene and allergen awareness. 37 hours per week, with pay band quoted in the posting.

The Big Fresh Catering Company provides healthy nutritious school meals at lunchtime, which is compliant with the Food and Nutrient standards set by the Welsh Government's Healthy Eating in Schools (Nutritional Standards and Requirements) (Wales) Regulations 2013. Pay Details: Grade - 5, SCP 8 - 12 £27,709 - £29,542

Hours of Work / Working Pattern: 5/7 Days - 37 hrs per week

Main Place of Work: Cosmeston Lakes Country Park
