Job summary

Benugo Cafe, located inside John Lewis in Norwich, is seeking an experienced Cafe Supervisor. The role covers day-to-day operations, ensuring top quality products and service, and leading the team to deliver memorable guest experiences.

You will supervise and motivate staff, support the management team to grow sales, and uphold strict food safety standards. The position is full-time with a 5-days-out-of-7 pattern and a rate of £13.30 per hour.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Cafe Supervisor to join our team at Benugo Cafe, located within John Lewis in Norwich.

Our cafe is open seven days a week, offering freshly prepared food, deliscious cakes, and a selection of hot and cold drinks. We pride ourselves on delivering excellent customer service in a friendly and welcoming environment.

We Offer:

Rate: £13.30 per hour

Shifts: 5 days out of 7/ Mon - Fri/ Weekends

Contract: Full Time

About the Cafe Supervisor role:

• To oversee the day-to-day operations by ensuring that our product and the service we provide are always of highest standard
• To supervise, manage and motivate the team
• To support management team in working towards improving sales and service
• Ensuring high levels of Food and Health & Safety are always maintained

The ideal candidate will possess good food and beverage knowledge in addition to outstanding customer service, and leadership skills.
