Job summary

BaxterStorey is seeking a Cafe Supervisor at NatWest Gogarburn to lead a busy cafe team, deliver outstanding service and ensure smooth daily operations. You will supervise, train and motivate staff, maintaining high hospitality standards and turning every guest into a loyal customer.

This role requires Barista and food service experience, plus confidence in supervising, training and supporting a team. You will coordinate logistics for events, manage inventory and uphold BaxterStorey’s core

Job Description

• Barista Experience - experience in crafting amazing coffees, delicious drinks and upselling to all our guests
• Food Service Experience - experience in serving food to a high standard and ensuring all our guests needs are met. Working with chefs and other team members.
• Event Experience - experience in delivering exceptional hospitality to high profiles clients that expect excellence.
• Supervision and Training - recruit, train, and supervise cafe team
• Set clear expectations and provide ongoing feedback to maintain a high level of performance
• Quality Control - monitor food quality, presentation, and service standards to ensure they meet or exceed customer expectations. Address and resolve any issues or concerns promptly to ensure customer satisfaction
• Logistics Management - coordinate delivery, setup, and breakdown of catering equipment and supplies. Oversee the flow of events, including food service, beverage distribution, and guest interactions. Manage inventory and order supplies as needed to maintain adequate stock levels
• Customer Service - foster positive relationships with clients and guests, addressing their needs and concerns. Handle customer inquiries, requests, and special dietary requirements with professionalism and courtesy.
