Job summary

Barista role at BaxterStorey in the UK, working 28 hours per week with daytime hours. You will greet customers, prepare a range of coffee beverages and teas, and provide excellent service.

Training and development are offered, along with a strong focus on teamwork and a positive work‑life balance. You’ll engage with customers, share our menu stories, maintain a clean workspace, and follow COSHH and health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Delight customers with a warm greeting and professional service.
• Efficiently prepare and serve a variety of coffee and other drinks.
• Recommend menu items and explain allergens procedures.
• Keep the coffee bar clean and well organised according to schedules.
• Follow health, safety and food safety guidelines at all times.
• Monitor stock levels and restock as needed.
• Handle payments using till systems and process orders.
• Deliver exceptional service and resolve customer issues calmly.
• Support the team with other tasks as required.

Job Description

• Delight our customers by greeting them in a friendly and professional manner
• Efficiently prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks using the correct methods, equipment and to our standards
• Share the story of our menu, and provide recommendations to customers and be aware allergen procedures
• The pride in your workspace, maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the coffee bar and other surrounding areas in line with cleaning schedules, company and COSHH standards
• Follow all health and safety and food safety guidelines and procedures
• Monitor stock levels and restock supplies as needed
• Use till systems for taking payments and customer orders
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any customer issues or complaints
• Be a part of the team assisting on other tasks as needed
