Job summary

Greencore is hiring a driver at our Southampton distribution depot. You will start at 6pm, navigate a schedule Sunday to Friday with a rolling rest day, delivering fresh stock to retailers and forecourts across the region.

The role includes overtime premiums after 42 hours and night-time uplift for late shifts. You must hold a full UK driving licence with up to 6 points, and be comfortable working five days per week including Sundays.

Qualifications

Being great with people is essential.
Must have a full UK driving licence held for at least six months with a maximum of 6 points.

Responsibilities

Deliver daily stock to convenience retailers and forecourts as part of a nationwide team.
Five-day work week with mandatory Sundays; shift starts at 6pm and includes Sundays; no Saturday work.
On-the-job training and opportunities for progression are provided.

ShiftTimes: 6pm start time

Pay Rate:£13.60 per hour (+ £1.15 for any hours worked between 10pm and 6am, + £1.50 for Nero permium)

Shift Pattern: Sunday to Friday with a rolling rest day

Overtime:Overtime Premium are payable after 42 hours at time and a quarter

Workload: On average between 10-20 drops per day

Southampton:

OurSouthamptondistribution depot serves convenience retailers and forecourts in the region. The depotoperatesa fleet of 35 vehicles on 36 routes.

What you'll be doing:

From the simple sandwich to a range of chilled foods, our customers need fresh stock daily and you could be part of our nationwide team making some of those 3.5 million deliveries each year and keeping Britain fed.You would be expected to work five days per week,which would include mandatorySundays. With this shift pattern there will be no Saturday work and working day off as well on rotation.On-the-job training is provided and you will be partnered up with another team member to start with.
