Job Description

The Café at Christ Church Woking is a unique and welcoming space. As the first independent coffee shop in Woking, it has built a reputation over the past 30 years as a place of warmth and compassion. After extensive refurbishment, we are excited to reopen this space to serve the community.

We are seeking a passionate Café Manager to relaunch and manage The Café as part of Christ Church Woking's outreach activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, develop, and lead a close-knit café team
• Bring experience from a café or hospitality environment
• Develop and implement a successful business strategy and manage budgets
• Maintain excellent communication and customer service skills
• Stay calm and effective under pressure
• Be flexible, resourceful, and decisive
• Create a warm, friendly atmosphere for staff and customers
• Signpost appropriately for pastoral support if needed
• Share our faith and support our wider mission
