Job summary

TESCO UK is hiring for a Back of House/Café team member across Tesco Cafés. You'll help keep dishes and workspace clean, serve customers with care, and support the kitchen to deliver our menu with consistency.

You'll follow food safety rules, rotate stock, handle deliveries, and keep records. A friendly team player with good communication will fit in, with flexible working options and career development opportunities at Tesco.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older to apply.

Responsibilities

• Keep kitchen equipment and utensils clean and tidy.
• Serve customers quickly and with care.
• Follow food safety rules and maintain daily records.
• Rotate stock using FIFO to keep food fresh.
• Accept deliveries and store food safely.
• Prepare, cook and serve food as the café menu requires.
• Maintain standards and ensure all items are available.
• Know the café menu and serve dishes as intended.
• Resolve customer complaints and inform the Café Manager.
• Stay up to date with communications and initiatives.
