Auchrannie Resort on the Isle of Arran is opening Bay Café by Auchrannie in Brodick. As a Food and Beverage Assistant, you will join a brand-new team delivering friendly, professional service for locals and visitors, reflecting Auchrannie’s values.

You will know menus, take orders, handle dietary requests, upsell items, maintain cleanliness, and support smooth café operations across shifts, with daytime hours and weekends.

Qualifications

• Great people and customer service skills with a bubbly personality.
• Experience in café, restaurant, bar or hospitality environment preferred.
• Attention to detail and ability to anticipate customers’ needs.
• Willing to learn hospitality skills and develop knowledge of the industry.
• Flexibility to work across cafe and resort outlets; weekend daytime shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional service reflecting Auchrannie’s values.
• Welcome customers warmly and answer menu questions with recommendations.
• Take orders accurately, including dietary requirements and special requests.
• Prepare and serve hot and cold drinks to standard quality.
• Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and revenue.
• Set up and clear down the café; maintain cleanliness and safety.
• Handle complaints professionally and pass feedback to management.
