Job summary

Bannatyne is seeking a Cafe Bar Assistant in Carlisle to join our cafe bar team. The role is 16 hours per week with a rate of pay of £12.71 per hour, based in Carlisle.

You will greet members, serve drinks and snacks, maintain hygiene standards, handle payments, and support stock and safety compliance. Ideal candidates are energetic, friendly, and customer-focused with a passion for health, wellness, and hospitality.

A typical day in the life of a Cafe Bar Assistant:

• Greet and serve members and guests with a friendly and positive attitude.
• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages and light snacks efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the cafe bar area.
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Assist in inventory management and stock replenishment.
• Ensure all health and safety regulations are adhered to.
• Provide information about the club’s services and facilities as needed.
• Work collaboratively with the team to create a welcoming atmosphere.
