Horizon Leisure Centres in Havant is seeking a Casual Café Assistant to join our Operations Team. The role supports the Duty Management Team in delivering a first-class café experience for customers, with weekday availability and flexibility to travel to other company sites as needed.

You will serve customers courteously, help prepare and serve food, handle till transactions, promote add-ons, and maintain a clean, welcoming café environment.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in a customer service environment.
• Cash handling experience.

Responsibilities

• To serve customers in a friendly, professional and efficient manner
• To ensure the Café is prepared and ready for business at the appointed opening times
• To prepare, cook and serve food
• To ensure all areas of the Café and products are displayed in a clean, tidy and attractive manner
• To work to a high and fast standard to meet customer demand
• To accurately process all till transactions
• To actively promote add‑on sales
• Good communicator
