Champneys Forest Mere Café is looking for a proactive Café Assistant Barista to join our team. You will handle reservations and manage table service to maximise revenue while delivering consistent, friendly service.

You should know the menus, ingredients, and daily availability, ensuring accurate payments and maintaining cleanliness. This role includes opening and closing duties with an emphasis on guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Complete working knowledge of the menus and daily specials.
• Ability to take reservations and manage tables to maximise revenue.

• Serve food and drinks both table service and over the counter.
• Monitor stock levels and stock management.
• Maintain cleanliness in the Café and Follow allergen guidelines.
• Ensure payments will be accurately posted on guest accounts.

Café Assistant Barista

Champneys Forest Mere

Contract: Full Time
Salary: Up to £12.71 per hour plus tips

Full and Part Time available

Within our Café you will support the team with taking reservations and effectively managing our tables to maximise revenue.

In this role you will provide consistent levels of excellent service, you will be courteous, professional, and have a passion for what we do.

You will also have a complete working knowledge of the menus, menu ingredients and what is available for that day.

Some duties and responsibilities include;

• Serve food and drinks both table service and over the counter;
• Monitor stock levels and stock management;
• Maintain cleanliness in the Café and Follow allergen guidelines;
• Ensure payments will be accurately posted on guest accounts.
• Opening and closing duties for the café

Due the operating times of this outlet evenings are not a requirement in this role.
