THE·TEAM is seeking a CAD Technician / Technical CAD Designer to join the Design team for Sport Signage projects. The role develops technical drawings and build methodologies for signage and installation at events, collaborating with Operations, Procurement and Estimating to ensure feasible, cost-aware solutions.

You will produce accurate drawings, check buildability, and contribute to reusable templates while supporting site surveys and field feedback. Hybrid working model offered.

Competenze

• Professional CAD/technical design experience in signage, events, fabrication, temporary structures or comparable environments.
• Strong 2D technical drawing capability; relevant 3D CAD capability is advantageous.
• Practical understanding of materials, fabrication, assembly and installation.
• Experience producing information for workshop/supplier and site teams.
• Motorsport/event experience is advantageous.
• Clear technical communication and problem solving in cross-functional teams.

Mansioni

• Develop concepts into practical technical drawings and details for fabrication, build and installation.
• Create accurate, legible drawings using agreed standards; manage revision status.
• Review designs for buildability, transport, installation and reuse considerations.
• Provide technical information to assist Estimating and Procurement; avoid pricing.
• Interface with Operations to resolve questions before/during events.
• Collaborate with design colleagues to protect intent while addressing constraints.
• Perform quality checks on drawings and communicate revisions.
• Support site measurements and verification as required.
• Develop reusable details and templates for consistency across projects.
• Drive continuous improvement based on field feedback and lessons learned.
