Job summary

THE TEAM is seeking a technically skilled CAD designer for signage and event environments. You will translate concepts into fabrication-ready drawings, ensure buildable solutions, and collaborate with operations and design teams to maintain design intent while managing practical constraints.

The role requires strong CAD capabilities, experience with materials and fabrication, and the ability to work across workshop and site teams.

Qualifications

Professional CAD/technical design experience in signage, events, fabrication, temporary structures, interiors/exhibitions or a comparable environment.
Strong 2D technical drawing capability; relevant 3D CAD capability is advantageous.
Practical understanding of materials, fabrication, assembly and installation.
Experience producing information for both workshop/supplier and site teams.
Motorsport/event experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Develop concepts into practical technical drawings and details for fabrication, build and installation.
Produce accurate, legible drawings using agreed standards and templates.
Review designs for practical build, transport, installation and reuse considerations.
Provide technical information to support estimating and procurement without setting prices.
Interface with Operations to resolve technical questions before and during events.
