Job summary

Blank Space Recruitment Ltd. seeks a CAD Technician for an events-focused team. You will use AutoCAD to develop proposals and prepare construction drawings, including plans, elevations, sections and isometrics, for diverse applications within the events industry.

Reporting to the Design Manager, you will collaborate with Project Managers, senior stakeholders, clients and suppliers to ensure accuracy and timely delivery in an office-based setting.

Qualifications

• Strong background in using AutoCAD in events, engineering, fabrication or construction.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and workload prioritisation.

The Role

Reporting into the Design Manager, the CAD Technician will use customised templates to produce specific proposals and build ready construction drawings. These will include plans, elevations, sections & isometric views for various applications within this bespoke industry. The role will involved internal collaboration with Project Managers, senior stakeholders as well as clients and suppliers.

About you

We are seeking a strong background in using AutoCAD software ideally in the events, engineering, fabrication or construction industries as well as the ability to manage multiple projects and work to tight deadlines. The role will require strong communication skills and the ability to prioritise workloads. This is an office based role.
