Balfour Beatty plc is seeking a CAD Technician to support a flagship project with Rolls-Royce in Derby, England. Your role will involve producing precise CAD drawings and collaborating closely with various teams to ensure project specifications are met.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate 2D and 3D CAD drawings in line with project specifications
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project teams to develop technical solutions
• Update and maintain drawing records and documentation
• Ensure all work complies with relevant industry standards and project requirements
• Assist in design coordination and clash detection where required
• Support the delivery team with technical drawing queries and revisions

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CAD Technician within construction, engineering, or infrastructure
• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines
• Good communication skills and a collaborative approach
• Understanding of engineering drawings and design principles
• Relevant qualification in CAD, engineering, or a related discipline (preferred)
