Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a CAD Technician to join the Engineering & Design Team in Eye, Suffolk. You will produce accurate drawings, prepare Bills of Materials, and support manufacture of customer-specific products.

The role requires 3D CAD experience (Autodesk Inventor or AutoCAD), BOM creation, and a detail-focused, independent worker with good communication skills. Site-based with UK right to work is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Experience with 3D CAD, ideally Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks or similar.
• AutoCAD experience.
• Experience producing Bills of Materials.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Good communication, organisation and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and use your own initiative.
• HND/Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing or a related subject.
• ERP system experience.
• Knowledge of iLogic, Python or similar coding.
• Experience with Autodesk Vault or Continuous Improvement.

• Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum

The Role

We are looking for an experienced CAD Technician to join our Engineering & Design Team. You will be responsible for producing accurate engineering, fabrication and construction drawings, preparing Bills of Materials and supporting the successful manufacture of customer-specific products. You will work closely with engineering, manufacturing and customer-facing teams to ensure designs are accurate, practical and meet the required technical and quality standards.
