Job summary

Alternative Heat Ltd. is seeking a CAD Technician at head office in Banbridge. The role is permanent, full-time, with hours Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm and Friday 8am-3pm.

Salary is competitive and dependent on experience, reporting to the BIM Manager. The position offers training and a clear development path in a multidisciplinary CAD team. You will produce 2D drawings from 3D models, annotate and check drawings to company standards, and collaborate with design, pre-construction, and installation

Qualifications

• Experience with CAD methods and producing accurate construction drawings is valued.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and follow company standards.

Responsibilities

• Produce 2D construction drawings including plans, sections, elevations and details from 3D models.
• Add annotations and specifications to models and check drawings for accuracy.
• Collaborate with CAD, design, pre-construction, offsite manufacturing and installation teams.
• Develop skills toward using Revit 3D modelling software.
