Job Opportunity: AutoCAD Technician

Hours: Full Time - 45 hours - Monday to Friday

Purpose of Role

We are recruiting an experienced AutoCAD Technician to support the handover process of multiple PFI contracts over the next decade.

Job Description

The AutoCAD Technician will ensure our PFI contracts are ready for handover by investigating CAD documentation, collaborating with stakeholders across locations to gather missing information, and creating high-quality CAD drawings. Attention to detail and efficiency in managing a high volume of work are essential.

Responsibilities

1. Preparing drawings from sketches, PDFs, and CAD software.
2. Producing plans, elevations, technical details, and layouts.
3. Updating existing drawings to create accurate 'As Built' records.
4. Interrogating CAD and BIM models.
5. Producing both 2D and 3D drawings.
6. Contributing to BIM models.
7. Collaborating with architects, engineers, and construction teams to produce plans and drawings.

Essential Qualifications/Skills

• Proven experience with AutoCAD software.
• Strong understanding of technical drawing principles and standards.
• Knowledge of BIM processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• UK Driver’s License (no more than 6 points).
