Job Opportunity: CAD Technician

We are seeking a talented CAD Technician to join our professional Design Department, based in either our Caterham or Letchworth office. Your main role will involve supporting our Architecture and Planning teams by preparing masterplans, streetscenes, and house type drawings for planning applications.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Work on residential projects of various sizes.
2. Produce planning application packages.
3. Maintain and update CAD standards.
4. Collaborate closely with team members and other departments.

Requirements:

1. Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a CAD technician in the Built Environment.
2. Proficiency in AutoCAD, including the specialised toolset (AutoCAD Architecture).
3. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, & Illustrator) and SketchUp is beneficial but not essential; training can be provided.
4. High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
6. Ability to work effectively within a team.
7. Experience with Revit is advantageous but not essential.
