Stannah have an exciting opportunity for a CAD Technician to join the Rail Design Department based at Andover.
This job will involve working within a team of Rail Designers who design bespoke stairlift rails, from surveys obtained by sales advisers and distributors.
The role offers the ability to work from home after an initial training period, although attendance within the office will be required on an adhoc basis.
This CAD Technician job is permanent with the working hours 05:30 to 13:30 Monday to Thursday, Friday 05:30 to 13:00. This is 37 hours a week including a 15% shift allowance
This is a great opportunity for a candidate who thrives of high level of concentration, communication, speed, accuracy and problem-solving skills to take a customer order from survey to manufacture and installation. As will be required to provide production drawings to tight deadlines for rail fabrication of curved Stairlifts across three different sites.
To be successful as the CAD Technician, it is essential that you have previous experience in the ability to work within tight time constraints and have experience in 3D CAD systems; SolidWorks would be desirable.
Consideration will also be given, to individuals who have recently qualified from further education.
